The KW500LH filter screen cleaning machine is a professional cleaning solution for contaminated filter screens used on plastic extruder screen changers. It integrates a vacuum thermal cleaning furnace, high-pressure water rinsing unit and ultrasonic cleaning tank in one compact system.
Utilizing the thermal-decomposition characteristics of high-molecular polymers, the equipment removes residual plastic, carbon deposits and polymer contaminants from filter screens under controlled vacuum-thermal conditions. Combined with high-pressure water flushing and ultrasonic fine cleaning, it restores filter screens for repeated reuse. It significantly cuts filter-screen procurement costs for plastic recycling, extrusion and pelletizing production lines.
1.Vacuum thermal melting phase (Room temperature ~ 300 ℃) Place dirty filter screens inside the vacuum furnace. Heat materials under vacuum environment. Residual polymer melts and drips down into the collection container at furnace bottom. Duration: approx. 150 min.
2.High-temperature pyrolysis phase (300 ℃ ~ 450 ℃) Raise furnace temperature to decompose most remaining polymer contaminants. Waste gas generated is treated by water-spray scrubber and discharged via water-ring vacuum pump. Duration: approx. 360 min.
3.Oxidation decomposition phase (450 ℃) Introduce trace air under partial vacuum to fully oxidize carbonized residues. Duration: approx. 60 min.
4.High-pressure water rinsing Take screens out of furnace, rinse loose ash and residues with high-pressure water.
5.Ultrasonic fine cleaning Transfer screens into ultrasonic tank for 30-60 min deep cleaning to achieve final metallic clean surface.
Total full-cycle processing time: 6-15 hours per batch.
1. Vacuum Thermal Cleaning Furnace (with high-pressure water rinsing function) Completes melting, pyrolysis and oxidation removal of polymer carbon residues under vacuum condition.
2. Ultrasonic Cleaning Unit Removes micro-scale residual dirt for thorough surface finishing after thermal treatment.
✅ High-efficiency vacuum thermal decomposition Controlled vacuum-heating process melts and decomposes plastic contaminants without damaging metal filter mesh structure. Avoids over-oxidation or deformation of filter screens.
✅ Two-stage cleaning workflow: thermal pyrolysis + ultrasonic finishing Heavy carbon-plastic dirt is eliminated by vacuum thermal furnace; ultrasonic treatment removes tiny residual particles, delivering near-new cleaning result.
✅ Wide compatibility for filter specifications Suitable for filter screens ranging from 8 mesh to 150 mesh, compatible with filter discs for various screen changers in plastic extrusion & recycling plants.
✅ Precise temperature control Temperature control accuracy reaches ±1 ℃; working temperature adjustable up to 500 ℃, max design temperature 650 ℃. Supports custom temperature curves for different contamination levels.
✅ Safe & environmental-friendly exhaust treatment Process waste gas passes through water-spray scrubber system before discharge; prevents harmful fume pollution on-site.
✅ Reduce operational cost Recycle and regenerate blocked filter screens instead of frequent replacement. Greatly lowers consumable expenditure for plastic recycling and pelletizing workshops.
✅ Fully-automatic process option Pre-set heating & holding time parameters; equipment executes cleaning cycle automatically. Simple operation for workshop staff.
