self-cleaning melt filter is engineered for high-contamination post-consumer plastic recycling pelletizing lines. Different from conventional rotary-blade screen changers, it adopts an innovative working principle: scrapers stay static while mesh plates rotate, discharging contaminants by discharge screw. It achieves continuous online filtration without frequent screen replacement, effectively solving pain points including frequent shutdown, heavy material loss, blade quick-wear and melt carbonization for PCR-PP, PE, PS, ABS and PET recycling lines. It is highly suitable for HDPE / LDPE food-grade pelletizing production with strict requirements for melt purity.

Core Working Principle

1. Two groups of filter plates work simultaneously to enlarge effective filtration area and shorten melt flow path.

2. Mesh plates rotate at low speed; stationary short scrapers tightly fit mesh-plate surface to scrape off contaminants.

3. Scraped impurities are conveyed by independent discharge screw; cooling structure installed at screw outlet discharges impurities in solid-state.

4. Continuous filtration & automatic slag discharge, no interruption to extrusion production and nearly no pressure fluctuation.
